See Milan in Two Days

It’s impossible to truly visit Italy without spending some quality time in Milan. With only two days to spend, it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all that the city has to offer. Since a little efficiency goes a long way, this itinerary will help maximize your Milan experience!

Day 1

Day 2

Spend the afternoon immersed in the past with a visit to the magnificent Villa Necchi. The museum used to be a private home, designed in the 1930s by famous Italian architect Piero Portaluppi.

The pièce de la résistance in Milan is Leonardo da Vinci’s breathtaking masterpiece The Last Supper. Located in the convent of the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, you need to book a 15-minute appointment to visit the world-famous fresco.

Plan ahead to travel Milan, and you might be lucky enough to get tickets to a ballet or opera production at La Scala. The famous theater has dozens of restaurants nearby, so start the evening with delicious food. Ristorante Papa Francesco is a family business serving Italian wine and cuisine in an authentic atmosphere. Da Claudio is the place to go for creative dishes and culinary art. Get your fill of incredible flavors before taking in the exciting atmosphere at La Scala.

End the evening with a last stroll through the streets of Milan, because the very best way to explore any city is to wander around and let the mood guide your feet.
